Meet the Founders

Compassionate Companions was established in 2021 by Millie and Chloe, having both been individual Personal Assistants for many years.

From here on out, our dream of having a small team of qualified care providers began!

We have provided quality care for a combined total of over 30 years. Maintaining our skills and knowledge through continuous professional development. We are both committed to providing quality care and pride ourselves in our professionalism and dedication to our clients.  Our careers have given us skilled experience from personal care to end of life care.

We understand the challenges and opportunities of caring in a home setting and are confident in thinking quickly in unexpected situations. Our knowledge ensures we use professional services to enable us to access the help and support required.

We are incredibly passionate about what we do and thrive in offering person centred support, and are both excited to help as many people as we can to engage in the care we all so very much deserve. 

Combining both of our expertise has been so very valuable in teaching each other and sharing each others knowledge.

Who are we?

  • Millie Whelan

    Company Director and Manager

    Millie has 14 years worth of experience in end of life and palliative care. She also has a wealth of experience in dementia, substance misuse and is particularly passionate about offering bereavement support.

  • Chloe Giffard

    Company Director and Manager
    ​
    Chloe has a wealth of experience and knowledge in working alongside learning disabilities in both children and adults, brain injuries and mental health. 
    She is particularly passionate about understanding the client as an individual rather than by their disability.
